On August 28, 2010, at Sixto Escobar Stadium in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Insomniac set the record for the largest ever dance music event on the island with its second annual Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Puerto Rico. Sponsored by Coors Light, EDC featured 15,000 music fans, large-scale art installations and sets from over 60 performers on three massive stages including Moby, Will-I-Am, Pendulum and JFK of Mstrkrft.. At the end of the night, a downpour of rain added an extra special effect to the show – one that was welcomed by fans grateful for a shower after dancing all day long!

On September 4th and 5th, 2010, over 25,000 music fans gathered at the lush, grassy fields of Apache Pass in Downtown Texas for Insomniac's Nocturnal Festival in Texas. Insomniac estimates the attendance at 12,000 on September 4, and at 13,000 on September 5th. Enforcement of the 18 and older policy, along with EDC's now standard security and medical measures, resulted in a safe and successful Nocturnal Festival Texas.

Nocturnal Festival is one of Insomniac's cornerstone music festivals, uniting many styles of music culture including indie rock and electronic music. Insomniac presented the first Nocturnal Festival 15 years ago in Los Angeles for 3,000 fans and the annual festival has grown to over 40,000 fans at last year's event in Los Angeles. 2010 is the first year Insomniac will produce two Nocturnal Festivals – this weekend's successful event in Texas and another one in the Los Angeles area on September 25.

The Texas lineup featured four outdoor stages of groundbreaking bands and DJs including Disco Biscuits, Lotus, Pretty Lights, Kid Cudi, Armin Van Buuren, and Roni Size.

"We are very grateful to have been able to present this contemporary mix of arts and culture at this historic Texas location," said Insomniac's founder, Pasquale Rotella. "The venue is a treasure located between three colleges and it provided the perfect setting for two days of great music, unique art and wonderful times. The Milam County locals, restaurants and motels were all very accommodating—the festival generated good business for the area. We had several options for venues and I have no doubt that we picked the best one."
