HELENA, Mont., Sept. 9, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Law Firm of Shepherd Smith Edwards & Kantas LLP continues to investigate Donald Chouinard, former broker with Linsco Private Ledger (LPL).  The Montana Securities Commission shut down Chouinard's businesses last year, and Chouinard has recently plead not guilty to various felony charges. According to investigations, Chouinard allegedly made unauthorized trades on customer's accounts during the five years he was registered as a broker with LPL Financial Corp. Allegedly, Chouinard generated approximately $250,000 in fees and commissions, while his customers lost over $1,000,000.
