Top Image Systems Provides Mailroom and Invoice Processing Solutions to Zeeland Province in the Netherlands

TEL AVIV, Israel, Sept. 21, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Top Image Systems, Ltd. (Nasdaq:TISA) (TASE:TISA), the leading ECM (Enterprise Content Management) innovator of intelligent document recognition, has joined in partnership with Saves, a Business Process Management (BPM) company in the Netherlands, to provide document processing to Zeeland province, a local Government in the Netherlands.

Zeeland province was already using a part-digitized system to process their documents; however the accuracy of processing was very disappointing and led to substantial processing delays and a backlog of documents. Zeeland province conducted an intensive selection process to find a new solution, considering the major products in the market.

Zeeland province was looking for a solution capable of processing 900,000 documents per year, including data extraction for 30,000 invoices. The chosen system must also be able to integrate to the existing Coda ERP system and Corsa AP Workflow.

Top Image Systems (TIS) and Saves were selected as the solution that could best meet Zeeland province's requirements. TIS' Unified Content Platform eFLOW proved itself to deliver robust and accurate results, and the partnership provides Zeeland province with experience, knowledge, and understanding of the business processes that were of key concern in this project. eFLOW also demonstrated a seamless integration to Zeeland province's existing systems.

Adri Boogaard, Project Manager, Program e-Government at Zeeland province, explains, "We have selected eFLOW to solve all the pains we have experienced with our current OCR solution and to help us achieve cost effective, innovative business processes. Through the selection process TIS and Saves proved a winning partnership, which combined with eFLOW's advanced technology gives us confidence that we will see the results we need."

"Saves is well recognized in the industry for delivering improved systems and processes. We partnered with TIS as we value the experience they have within the market, and the strength of the technology that they provide. The solution that together we will bring to Zeeland province in the Netherlands will deliver strong results, and enable Zeeland province to quickly make significant improvements," said Ms. H. van de Gevel, Project Manager, Saves.

"We are pleased to have been chosen alongside Saves as the winning solution by Zeeland province," said Omri Gelb, Executive Vice President at TIS, "The combination of experience each side brings to the partnership will be invaluable, and with the leading technology of eFLOW it will allow Zeeland province to successfully implement central scanning and extended mailroom functionality."
