Genium INET Nordic will be launched on the 25th of October 2010. This IT notice contains an overview of the launch preparation activities the next four weeks, including the launch weekend plan and the rollback framework attached. Your Genium INET project manager will also be regarded as the launch manager. Additional activities and plans will be updated through IT Notices, if needed. Launch Preparations Week of October 11 - Pre-production environment opens with production IDs and passwords To ensure that Members have properly configured their trading applications and clearing application, the pre-production environment is open for test of connectivity, logon and trade the week starting October 11. This week, test is only possible using production IDs and passwords. For connectivity details see: http://nordic.nasdaqomxtrader.com/memberextranet/genium_inet/connectivity_and_pr otocols/ Please note, if you are changing the source IP address used for your upcoming production environment, Derivativesuser@nasdaqomx.com has to know this to update the IP authorization services. If you are unsure, contact your network department. The pre-production system will be reset and cleared from earlier testing. All current trader IDs from CLICK production will be migrated. All new Clearing Workstations IDs created in the Genium INET pre-production environment will be kept (including the Clearing Workstation client IDs set up by the members themselves). Participants should use this week to connect from their upcoming Genium INET production environments with production accounts and passwords towards Nasdaq OMX pre-production environment. This is valid for both front-office applications as well as back-office applications. NASDAQ OMX recommends that these tests are done as early as possible and no later than October 15. During this week NASDAQ OMX will follow the trading schedules, system hours and operations routines applicable to production. There will not be any simulated test events of any type. This week is the last opportunity for members to trade in pre-production. Week of October 18 - Launch week An updated launch-plan will be published at the start of the week. Pre-production will be open for login tests during launch week, with normal login hours, until Wednesday October 20th. All markets will be closed, no trading is allowed. In case login tests are not possible from your production environment until Saturday launch weekend, please ensure at least connectivity tests (telnet) are done in the week for all applicable ports. See separate document about connectivity verification for more details. http://nordic.nasdaqomxtrader.com/memberextranet/genium_inet/connectivity_and_pr otocols/ Launch Weekend initiated Friday October 22 The launch weekend plan is presented at the member web at: http://nordic.nasdaqomxtrader.com/memberextranet/genium_inet A summary of the activities and timeline is outlined below: In the morning of Friday October 22 NASDAQ OMX will publish an IT-notice and send email to all contacts about the migration initiated after closing Friday evening. After the closing auction the launch preparations will be started and evening jobs will be initiated. This is done at the same time for all NASDAQ OMX markets. Please note, CLICK/SECUR is available for logins until 23:00 CET, and will not open again. As a result, all long dated orders will be flushed and need to be re-inserted Monday October 25th. All data and reports are migrated over to the new Genium INET environment. All reports are available at 12.00 CET on Saturday October 23 Members, Market Data Vendors, Service Bureaus and Data Centers should initiate their migration activities according to their launch plans. No further messages will be published during Friday. Saturday October 23 - Confidence Test At 12.00 CET on Saturday October 23, NASDAQ OMX will have completed the migration and open the production environment for connectivity and reference data download. A message to start the Genium INET Nordic confidence test will be sent to all member contacts as well as an IT notice that will be published, and the web will be updated. Members and Data Centers should connect and login with all applicable applications and download reference data to prepare for Monday morning. All markets will be in closed state. The confidence test should be completed latest by 15.00 CET. After a completed and successful confidence test each member should send an email to geniuminet@nasdaqomx.com with a confirmation, with your MPID used, that confidence test has been completed and that the member is ready to go live. NASDAQ OMX will use the time after 15.00 CET to compile all member confirmations, solve any remaining connectivity issues and make the decision to proceed and go live. NASDAQ OMX will not close the system for connectivity until this process has been completed. Latest 17.30 CET NASDAQ OMX will send a message to the contact mail list, an IT notice will be published and the web will be updated to confirm that the migration has been completed and NASDAQ OMX and members are ready to go live on Monday morning. Genium INET will be available for logins at 19:00 CET on Sunday in case of a successful migration. Sunday October 24 - No activities - reserved for roll back Genium INET will be opened at 19:00 CET. Sunday October 24 is reserved in case a roll back scenario is necessary. In case a roll back is necessary this will be communicated at 17.30 CET on Saturday. Information related to the daily operations of Genium INET Nordic will be published at http://nordic.nasdaqomxtrader.com/memberextranet/genium_inet The Genium INET system will open as normal, that is, the same schedules currently applicable for CLICK production. Communication during Launch Weekend For communication NASDAQ OMX will use a combination of e-mail list contacts, Exchange/IT Notices and updates on the Genium INET Nordic member web. NASDAQ OMX may also contact individual members for confirmation by mail or phone. The launch weekend contact and e-mail list contains all contacts earlier received from all Members, Market Data vendors, Service Bureaus and Data Centers.
