Early refinancing of Deutsche Wohnen Group

Frankfurt/Main, 28 September 2010: Today, GEHAG GmbH, a member of Deutsche
Wohnen Group, has signed a loan agreement of EUR 255.0m with Bayerische
Landesbank. As a consequence, approximately 60% of loans of Deutsche Wohnen
Group due in 2012 have been successfully refinanced prior to their stated
maturity. The term of the loan is eight years. Deutsche Wohnen Group has
found a new strategic financing partner in Bayerische Landesbank.
