BILIA SELLS PROPERTY IN MÖLNDAL
Bilia has today entered into an agreement relating to the sale of a property in Mölndal,Sweden, to one of Corem Property Group AB’s subsidiaries. Sales and workshop operations for BMW and MINI are run on these premises. The sale is expected to result in a profit after tax of approximately SEK 17 million. At the end of June this year, the book value of the property was SEK 67 million. A newbuild including a separate sales area for MINI, “Black box”, is currently in progress. This investment, which is included in the deal, is expected to total SEK 33 million and will be taken over by Corem. This agreement is dependent upon the boards of Bilia and Corem approving the deal during the month of October. Access to the property will take place on 3 January 2011 and the profit will be included in the accounts relating to the first quarter of 2011. As a result of this agreement with Corem, Bilia will continue to operate on these premises via a long-term rental agreement. Corem already owns several of the properties Bilia rents in Sweden and Denmark. Bilia is pleased to be extending its partnership with Corem, in what we regard as an extremely favourable rental agreement.
