Pursuant to Section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG),
Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, Frankfurt, Germany, informed us on
September 30, 2010 as follows:

According to Section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG)
we inform you that on September 24, 2010 the voting share of Commerzbank
Aktiengesellschaft  in Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Kurfuersten-Anlage
52,60, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany, exceeded the thresholds of 3 percent, 5
percent, 10 percent, 15 percent, and 20 percent, subsequently amounting to
23.45 percent or 54,718,192 shares.

This obligatory announcement under Section 21 para. 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) is due to our co-lead-management in line with
the capital increase of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG entered into the
Commercial Register on September 24, 2010.

Furthermore, we inform you according to Section 21 para. 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act (WpHG) that on September 29, 2010 the voting share
of Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft in Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG,
Kurfuersten-Anlage 52-60, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany, fell below the
thresholds of 20 percent, 15 percent, 10 percent, 5 percent, and 3 percent,
subsequently amounting to 0.04 percent or 91,671 shares.
