Pursuant to Section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act (WpHG),
Deutsche Bank AG, Frankfurt, Germany, informed us on September 30, 2010 as
follows:

According to Section 21 para. 1 of the German Securities Trading Act we
inform you that on September 24, 2010 our voting share in Heidelberger
Druckmaschinen AG, Kurfuersten-Anlage 52-60, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany,
exceeded the thresholds of 3 percent, 5 percent, 10 percent, 15 percent and
20 percent and amounted to 23.47 percent on this date. This corresponded to
54,761,636 ordinary bearer shares with no-par value (no-par shares).


This obligatory announcement under Section 21 para. 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act is due to our co-lead-management in line with the
capital increase of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG entered into the
Commercial Register on September 24, 2010.

Additionally, we inform you according to Section 21 para. 1 of the German
Securities Trading Act that on September 29, 2010 our voting share in
Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG fell below the thresholds of 20 percent, 15
percent, 10 percent, 5 percent and 3 percent and amounts to 0.35 percent
from now on. This corresponds to 818,981 ordinary bearer shares with no-par
value (no-par shares).
