An official Keel Laying Ceremony of the Multi-purpose Vessel NB-210200 being built under the order of Ministry of Interior of Republic of Estonia will take place at JSC "Riga shipyard", Gales iela 2, on the 11th of November, 2010 at 14:30. This vessel is intended for border guarding and control, rescue at sea operations and oil pollution containment and collection. Vessel will be 63.6m long and 10.2m wide. She is being built in cooperation with the Finnish shipbuilding company TYÖVENE OY. Vessel construction is being supervised by Lloyd's Register, international company registered in UK. JSC "Riga Shipyard" has been cooperating with the Finnish shipbuilding company TYÖVENE OY for a long time during which eight different type ships had been delivered to customers. One of the major projects to be mentioned is a 71.4m long multi-purpose vessel for environment protection delivered in September, 2009 to Ministry of Interior of Finland. Representatives of Ministry of Interior and Coastal Guard Service of Estonia and Latvia have been invited to take part in the ceremony. The Board of JSC "Riga shipyard"
