TECHNOPOLIS PARTNERS WITH NOKIA TO TALK ABOUT MONETIZING MOBILITY

TECHNOPOLIS PLC PRESS RELEASE November 11,2010 at 12:00

TECHNOPOLIS PARTNERS WITH NOKIA TO TALK ABOUT MONETIZING MOBILITY

Today for the eighth time, MoneyTalks Forum by Technopolis is giving Finnish
and international venture capital investors a fast track to meet the top
high-tech start-up companies from Finland and around the world. The event
includes keynote speeches, pitches from pre-selected companies, and
pre-scheduled one-to-one meetings during the MoneyTalks Marketplace. All
together, some 170 attendees will participate in a total of 350 meetings during
Thursday and Friday, a record for the MoneyTalks Forum events.

This event focuses on mobile technologies with the theme "Monetizing Mobility"
and features Nokia as the anchor partner. Robert Andersson, Nokia's Senior
Vice President, Corporate Alliances and Business Development, will deliver a
keynote speech on Development Trends and Mobility. Nokia has also scheduled
meetings with many companies during the MoneyTalks Marketplace.

Technopolis has pre-selected a group of MoneyTalks Forum start-up and growth
companies the opportunity to present pitches to the international audience of
investors. These will include both one-minute pitches as well as longer
seven-minute pitches. The event gives the companies a rare opportunity to
efficiently pitch their business concept to many investors at one time.

One company who pitched at the last event has already seen the benefits of
this. "Steam Republic Ltd has developed a Mobile Backstage - an efficient and
effective mobile marketing and sales tool for artists and music companies,"
says Paavo Bäckman, Trade Minister of Steam Republic. "In order for us invest
properly in growth in the UK and the U.S, it is essential that we secure
additional financing. International investors, especially globally-known firms,
appreciate the credibility a well-established company like Technopolis brings
to a relatively unknown start-up from Finland. Personal meetings, in addition
to investor events, have efficiently brought very useful contacts from 8
different countries within a short time period."

The one-on-one meetings at the MoneyTalks Marketplace give participants a
chance to meet face-to-face! "MoneyTalks Forum is one of the most important and
prominent matchmaking events available in Finland today," says Jukka Rauhala,
CEO of Technopolis Ventures and Director of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area for
Technopolis Plc. "It is very important for both the Venture Capitalist who is
looking for the right companies to invest in as well as for the start-up
company who is looking for funding in order to grow their business." This
matchmaking component has been an important part of the event since 2006, and
is highly anticipated by our event participants.

Members of the Press are welcome to participate and will have the opportunity
to interview the keynote speakers.
