PETERSBURG Lemminkäinen Kiinteistötekniikka Oy's Russian subsidiary Tekmen SPb signed an agreement with OOO Stockmann SPb Centre and ZAO Stockmann concerning the technical facility servicing of the Nevsky Centre shopping mall to be opened in St. Petersburg in November. The agreement enters into force on 1 January 2011, and includes round-the-clock servicing and maintenance of the facilities' HVACE, cooling and automation systems. The parties have agreed not to publish any details of the contract. “This is one of the most extensive servicing and maintenance agreements for Lemminkäinen in the St. Petersburg region,” says Tarmo Hiltunen, Managing Director, Tekmen SPb. The new shopping centre to be opened in the heart of St. Petersburg is one of the biggest investments in Stockmann's history. The floor area totals 100,000 square metres, 20,000 square metres of which are assigned for the Stockmann department store, 37,300 square metres for offices, 42,700 square metres for leasable business premises. There are also technical areas and parking for 550 cars. Tekmen SPb has several years' experience in extensive technical facility servicing and maintenance services in the St. Petersburg region.
