Northrop Grumman to Provide Information Analysis Support to the Defense Manpower Data Center


HERNDON, Va., Nov. 23, 2010 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has been chosen to partner with the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC) to provide project management, software development, data management support and research and analysis.

The task order, which was awarded under the CIO-SP2i contract, has a total program value of $83.4 million with a six month base and four option years.

The Northrop Grumman team will work with the DMDC to support uniformed services personnel across their three lines of business; Identity, Entitlements and Benefits, and Decision Support. In this capacity, they will assist with software development for delivery of services to include web-based products, physical access and identity management systems, analyses of data for improving services, provisioning of benefits and delivery of decision data.
