First Tennessee Receives Top Grades From Customers for Treasury Management Services

MEMPHIS, Tenn., Feb. 8, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- First Tennessee Bank received top grades in the 2011 Phoenix-Hecht Treasury Management Quality Index in the middle market and large corporate banking segments. First Tennessee received top grades from middle market customers and senior financial executives in categories including product processing, customer service, relationship manager overall effectiveness and features and capabilities. The Phoenix-Hecht Treasury Management Quality Index evaluates banks in three major areas of quality including products, perceptions about bank and treasury management relationship manager and assigns an average grade based on responses to the annual survey of treasury management services. The survey respondents are senior financial executives responsible for managing the bank relationships for treasury management services. The survey targets public and private U.S. corporations in two segments - middle market, with $40 - $500 million in annual sales, and large corporate, with more than $500 million in annual sales.

First Tennessee's treasury management services were also recognized earlier this year by Greenwich Associates. First Tennessee received top customer satisfaction honors in both the national and regional categories for treasury management in the 2010 Greenwich Excellence Awards for U.S. middle market and small business banking.
