Green EnviroTech Announces Appointment of Plastics Industry Veteran as COO


NEW YORK, Feb. 15, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Green EnviroTech Holdings Corp. (OTCBB:WCRM) and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Green EnviroTech Corp., a leading plastics recovery, separation, cleaning, and recycling company, announced today the resignation of Jeffrey Chartier as President and as a director of the company and the appointment of Lou Perches as Chief Operating Officer. Wayne Leggett, who has served as Chief Financial Officer of the company since March 2010, has also been appointed to the Board of Directors. Mr. Leggett, who will continue in his position as CFO, is an accredited accountant with 35 years of experience and has extensive knowledge in tax accounting, financial statements, budgeting and cash flow analysis.

Mr. Perches comes to Green EnviroTech with over 35 years of experience in the plastic industry and holds many distinguished certifications. Lou Perches is Six Sigma certified and is capable of building and operating plants under the ISO certification umbrella. The company intends to construct fully compliant ISO facilities globally. He has held positions of General Manager of an Injection molding company in Chicago and as Director of Corporate Quality for a global manufacture of closures for the beverage industry based in Northern California. He has also served as consultant to various companies in the food and beverage industries and has been a Lecturing Professor for the school of Industrial Technology at California State University San Francisco. Mr. Perces has also served as an advisory board member to California State University Hayward School of Industrial Technology.

Mr. Leggett was elected to serve as the Company's Chief Financial Officer in March 2010. An accredited accountant with 35 years of experience, Mr. Leggett has extensive knowledge in tax accounting, financial statements, budgeting and cash flow analysis. He was the former Assistant Treasurer for The Goldfield Corporation, a listed American Stock Exchange company, responsible for cash flow analysis, budget variances, consolidated statements and SEC filings. Over the past 35 years he also has conferred with clients on major purchases, cash flows, budgets and growth matters.  Mr. Leggett has served as CFO of Corporate Host Development, Inc., Austin, Texas where he performed the duties of acquisitions, feasibility studies and financing. Mr. Leggett joined Fuji Corporation as the Comptroller/Manager reporting to headquarters the monthly and annual reports concerning operations in the Phoenix area for 5 years. Mr. Leggett received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida and is a member of the National Society of Accountants.
