On March 7, 2011, Franklin Mutual Advisers, LLC, Wilmington, USA, informed
us in accordance with Art. 21 par. 1 WpHG that its share of the voting
rights in ThyssenKrupp AG, Duisburg and Essen, Germany, ISIN DE0007500001,
exceeded the 3% threshold on March 4, 2011. At this date the share of the
voting rights amounts to 3.06% (which equates to 15,726,191 voting rights).
All voting rights are attributable to Franklin Mutual Advisers, LLC in
accordance with Art. 22 par. 1 sentence 1 no. 6 WpHG.
