has informed us according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that its
voting rights in Deutsche Wohnen AG, Frankfurt, Germany, ISIN:
DE000A0HN5C6, have exceeded the threshold of 5% on April 11, 2011 and as of
such date amount to 5.03% (this corresponds to 4,116,772 voting rights).

These 5.03% of the voting rights (this corresponds to 4,116,772 voting
rights) are to be attributed to the company according to Article 22,
Section 1, Sentence 1, No. 6 of the WpHG.
