Four Winds Hartford to Hold Public Job Fair on Saturday, May 7

Dealer School Scheduled to Start on Monday, June 6


HARTFORD, MI--(Marketwire - May 2, 2011) - The Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, owners of the Four Winds Casino Resort in New Buffalo, Mich., is pleased to announce that it will host a public job fair for its new Four Winds Hartford casino on Saturday, May 7, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern at Hartford High School, 115 School Street in Hartford, Mich. Approximately 300 full and part-time jobs will be created at Four Winds Hartford. Additionally, a 10-week dealer school is scheduled to start on Monday, June 6.

Casino representatives are looking for qualified candidates to fill positions in the areas of food and beverage, gaming, finance, marketing, environmental services, valet and security. Computers will be available at the job fair for applicants to use to fill out an online application. Job offers will not be made at the job fair. A free 10-week dealer school is scheduled to start on Monday, June 6 in Hartford for individuals looking to learn how to be a casino card dealer. An offer of employment may be made following successful completion of school and audition. Trainees will not be paid during the dealer school, which is free to attend and has a value of $850. Four Winds Hartford is owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians and is scheduled to open in August 2011. It is located at 68600 Red Arrow Highway in Hartford, Mich., approximately two and a half miles west of the City of Hartford between exits 41 and 46 on Interstate 94.
