Opcon Bioenergy receives allocation decision for bioenergy-powered CHP
plant worth SEK 80 million

Göteborg Energi AB, the leading energy company in west Sweden, has
announced an allocation decision in accordance with the public
procurement act whereby it intends to accept the tender and contract
with Opcon Bioenergy, the subsidiary of Opcon, the energy and
environmental technology Group. The tender concerns a small-scale,
bioenergy-powered CHP plant for Falbygdens Energi, a subsidiary of
Göteborg Energi.

This deal is expected to be worth around SEK 80 million, with the plant
being completed in 2012. This will be the largest order ever for Opcon
Bioenergy.

A final agreement is expected to be signed after the end of the appeals
process in accordance with the public procurement act.

Opcon Bioenergy is part of Opcon's expanding Renewable Energy business
area and its focus on Waste to Value with a special emphasis on Waste
Heat Recovery and bioenergy. Within the bioenergy sector, Opcon
Bioenergy offers a wide range of services, from design of complete
combined power and heating plants to handling systems and combustion
plants under the Saxlund brand.

Under its Renergi brand, Opcon supplies systems for treatment and
improved energy efficiency to biomass-powered district heating plants,
sawmills, pellets manufacturers and commercial greenhouses, as well as
treatment equipment for industrial plants and drying systems for
biomass. The Group also supplies Opcon Powerbox for production of green
electricity based on hot water or saturated steam.
