NCC to expand E45 highway in the Göta älv valley for SEK 450 million

NCC Construction Sweden has been commissioned to expand the E45 between
Tingberg and Glässnäs into a four-lane highway. This road section is
included in the highway expansion program between Gothenburg and
Trollhättan. The client is BanaVäg i Väst through the Swedish Transport
Administration and the order is valued at approximately SEK 450 million.

The stretch of highway is 9.3 kilometers long and is located in the
Alvhem - Kärra section. A four-lane highway, with corresponding traffic
interchanges and bridge structures, will be built. NCC's assignment also
includes building connecting service roads.

The phase is the eighth contract to be awarded to NCC in the expansion
of the double-track railway and highway between Gothenburg and
Trollhättan.

The work on the highway will commence immediately and the section is
scheduled to be ready for traffic by the end of 2012.

The project will employ an average of about 70 people.

The order will be registered in the second quarter of 2011.
