Innofactor was selected to deliver a document and case management system for the Kuopio city group

Innofactor Documenta Ltd was selected in public procurement procedure to deliver a comprehensive document and case management system for the Kuopio City Group. The delivery includes the implementation of a document and case management system and the services related to the implementation, support and maintenance. The value of the deal is EUR 808,100.

The acquisition is part of the city of Kuopio's project for service area reform, which aims at making work more efficient and improving data management and customer service. One goal of the project is to plan and implement an information system, which makes it possible to receive, manage and process information electronically in the city's processes and also archive it electronically.

According to the implementation plan, the acquisition is divided into three stages and the last of these will end at the end of year 2012.

The Kuopio City Group consists of the city, balance units, public utilities, subsidiaries, group's shareholding companies, foundations, associations, federations of municipalities, and regional units.

The deal will further strengthen Innofactor’s position as the provider of case and document management systems to the public sector in Finland. The solution is based on Microsoft's SharePoint, which is part of Innofactor's core competence.
