On 16 May 2011, Allianz SE,  Munich, Germany, informed us according to
article 21 (1) WpHG that its voting rights in Commerzbank AG, Frankfurt am
Main, Germany, ISIN: DE0008032004, WKN: 803200, have fallen below the 5%
limit on 12 May 2011 and as of this date amounted to 4.85% (129,924,162
voting rights).

Voting rights amounting to 0.67% (17,927,067 voting rights) were to be
attributed to Allianz SE,  Munich, Germany, according to article 22 (1) 1
No. 1 WpHG and voting rights amounting to 0,0005% (12.447 voting rights)
were to be attributed to Allianz SE,  Munich, Germany, according to article
22 (1) 1 No. 6 WpHG.
