LOS ANGELES, May 20, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- City National Bank announced today that Judith M. Lu and Michael Scott have joined the Private Client Services team in Los Angeles.
With more than 15 years of experience, Lu will serve as a senior vice president, senior private client advisor, and will focus on new client development and service to the bank's high-net-worth clients in Los Angeles. These services include tailored investment management, trust, credit and banking services for high-net-worth families, select nonprofits and professional services firms. She will advise on comprehensive wealth management strategies and private banking solutions.
Lu will report to Scott Witter, a senior vice president and manager of Private Client Services in Los Angeles. She will be based at City National's downtown headquarters.

Lu previously served as executive director and senior client advisor for UBS Wealth Management International where she has worked since 2002 in such locations as Zurich, New York and Miami. Before that, she was with Deloitte & Touche. She has a bachelor's degree from UCLA and a master of international management degree from Thunderbird, The American Graduate School of International Management in Arizona.
Michael Scott will serve as a vice president and senior private client advisor in downtown Los Angeles and will also report to Witter. Formerly with TIAA-CREF Trust Company as a senior portfolio manager in Pasadena, Scott also worked for Bank of America for nearly six years in its private advisory services division. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and is a chartered financial analyst.
