On May 20, 2011, RBS Holdings N.V., Amsterdam, The Netherlands, informed us
according to Article 21, Section 1 of the WpHG that on May 16, 2011 its
voting rights in Deutsche Börse AG, Frankfurt am Main, Deutschland, fell
below the threshold of 3% of the voting rights in Deutsche Börse AG and on
that day amounted to 1.50344% (this corresponds to 2931719 voting rights).
All of these voting rights were to be attributed to RBS Holdings N.V.,
Amsterdam, The Netherlands, pursuant to Article 22, Section 1, Sentence 1,
No. 1 of the WpHG.
