GK Software AG: GK SOFTWARE AG Continues Its Growth Course in the
First Quarter of 2011

Schöneck, 26 May 2011 - GK SOFTWARE AG continued its growth path during the
first three months of fiscal 2011. Compared to the same period in the
previous year, sales rose by 17% to EUR 6.72 million (Q1 2010 = EUR 5.75
million). Earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) rose to EUR 1.17 million,
following a figure of EUR 1.06 million in the same reporting period in the
previous year. Operating performance rose by 16.0% to EUR 6.89 million (Q1
2010: EUR 5.95 million). As a result, the company had an EBIT margin of
17.4% related to sales during the first quarter. Earnings per share during
the first quarter were EUR 0.38.
Based on the figures that have been published, the Management Board
believes that its forecast is justified and it is expecting ongoing double
digit growth in percentage terms for the complete year in 2011, while the
company maintains the profitability levels achieved in the past.
