Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for May totalled 4,035 thousand euros. Approximately the same sales result as in May last year was achieved in a situation where the sales area shrunk by 8%.
In the month of May, retail revenue increased by 2% in Baltic region (in Estonia 6%, in Latvia 0% and in Lithuania sales decreased by 2%). Retail sales revenue in the Eastern Europe region decreased by 3% (including 2% increase in Russia and 9% decrease in Ukraine).
In the month of May, comparable stores sales (LFL) per square metre increased by 8%. Biggest growth was in in Russia (+18%), in Lithuania (+11%), in Estonia (+7%), in Ukraine (+6%) and Latvia (+1%). Retail sales efficiency (sales/m²) increased in May by 8%.
Baltika’s consolidated sales revenue for May totalled 4,195 thousand euros and decreased by 1% compared to May previous year.

At the end of May Baltika Group had 116 stores with a total sales area of 23,582 square metres, 12 stores less than in May 2010.
Consolidated sales revenue for the first five months totalled 20,225 thousand euros (+5% yoy), including retail revenues of 18,800 thousand euros (+6% yoy) and wholesale revenues of 1,176 thousand euros (-13% yoy).
