Registration on for One of Summer's Best Bike Rides


DETROIT, June 21, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- It's time to sign up for one of metro Detroit's premier cycling events: The Compuware Corporation Motor City Bike Ride benefitting Danialle Karmanos' Work It Out.

The ride takes place Saturday, July 16, from Campus Martius in downtown Detroit to Metro Beach in Harrison Township and back to Campus Martius. It's a 62-mile outing that will be fully supported with food, drink and emergency care.

Registration fee is $50, and riders are asked to raise $250 for Danialle Karmanos' Work It Out, a six-year-old non-profit that reaches hundreds of kids each year through 10-week yoga and nutrition programs with the goals of eradicating childhood obesity and promoting healthy body and minds.
