Markus Pinger to become new CEO of Celesio
Stuttgart, 23 June 2011. The Supervisory Board of Celesio AG has today
appointed Markus Pinger as the new Chairman of the Management Board of the
company. Markus Pinger, who until recently was a member of the Management
Board of Beiersdorf AG, will assume his new position as of 15 August 2011.
The current Celesio CEO Dr Fritz Oesterle is leaving the company as of 30
June 2011.
Wolfgang Mähr, member of Celesio AG's Management Board, will act as Interim
Chairman of the Management Board during the transition period from 1 July
2011 until 15 August 2011.
