Longtime hair stylist Larry Cohen is set to revolutionize the salon industry with a new system that can help not only the salon owners, but also stylists all over the world. Larry and his team have developed the Flex Salon Concept -- a way for salons to keep their chairs busy at all times.

What is Flex Salon Concept? The Flex Salon Concept is a revolutionary booking methodology for stylists that cannot afford rent and provides in-house education, along with individual promotions available to the Flex stylists. It is an hourly rental with a three hour minimum and you only pay when you use the chair.

Larry Cohen, a stylist trained in New York City, has been in the business for more than thirty years, and is all too familiar with the problems inherent in this model. After hearing the concerns of his own stylists, Larry knew there had to be a better way. He reasoned, "Why not just rent chairs by the hour?"

That's when the Flex Salon Concept was born. Larry prototyped the concept at the Sweet 9 Salon in West Hollywood on Melrose with the help of his business partner, Dawn Reid.

The Concept has seen strong success, with five additional Flex Salons being recently opened: the Pomp Salon in Santa Monica, Sweet 9 located in Thousand Oaks, LeBeau Salon in Ventura, and Studio Salon in Anaheim Hills.
