Large material handling order in Morocco awarded to FLSmidth

Company Announcement to the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority No.
16-2011, 29 June 2011.

FLSmidth has received an order worth approximately EUR 90m from the Moroccan
company, OCP Office Chérifien des Phosphates, to supply equipment for a
phosphate terminal for the Jorf Lasfar port at the Atlantic coast, some 120 km
south of the capital Casablanca.

Phosphate, a mineral mainly used in agricultural fertiliser, is a growing market
that is independent of the cyclical demand for metals.

The scope of supply includes complete engineering, design, fabrication of all
steel structures and mechanical parts, procurement of all standard components,
erection and commissioning. The order comprises two sulphur shiploaders each
with a capacity of 2,000 tonnes per hour, two fertiliser shiploaders also with a
capacity of 2,000 tonnes per hour each, two sulphur screw unloaders with an
hourly capacity of 2,300 tonnes each and two sulphur grab unloaders each with a
capacity of 1,500 tonnes per hour. All the equipment will be supplied complete
with appertaining belt conveyors. FLSmidth will also supply miscellaneous
auxiliary equipment such as electrical equipment, a fire fighting system and
dust suppression equipment.

"This order demonstrates our increasingly strong position as a preferred
provider of material handling equipment to the minerals industries. It also
confirms the great opportunities within the phosphate industry, which is not
cyclical" CEO Jørgen Huno Rasmussen, FLSmidth says.

The order will contribute beneficially to FLSmidth's earnings until late 2013.
