ORANGE, Calif., July 5, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Canyon Acres Children and Family Services, a Southern California charity organization committed to providing homes, care, treatment and supportive services for abused, neglected and emotionally troubled children and their families, today announced the 26th Annual Par Fore Kids Golf Classic will take place on Monday, August 15 at the Yorba Linda Country Club. All proceeds will benefit the children and families in Canyon Acres' care.
Par Fore Kids is one of Canyon Acres' largest annual fundraisers and is a favorite among celebrities, community leaders, agency supporters and volunteers who want to have an exciting day on the course and help children and families at the same time. In addition to 18 holes of championship golf, this year's event features a live auction, contest holes, a 50/50 split-the-pot cash opportunity prize, a hole-in-one contest sponsored by Crevier BMW, breakfast, lunch, dinner and a special appearance by the Angels Strike Force.
