Announcement according to § 15 WpHG
IMW Immobilien AG, Berlin, signed a contract on the sale of 24 properties
with the Nicolas Berggruen Berlin Holdings GmbH, Berlin. The contract
concern all Berlin located properties of the Falcon Crest portfolio of IMW
AG. Due to the sale and the redemption of loans IMW-Group continues its
process of optimization its finance structure.
In total the contract contains 24 properties with more than 1,375
residential and commercial units and a rental space of approx. 113,000 sqm,
which are located in the Berlin areas Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf,
Tiergarten, Steglitz, Kreuzberg, and Neukölln.
The total transaction volume amounts up to EUR 130 millions. The closing
is depending on an approval of the merger control authority and on an
approval of the financing bank of IMW AG too, because the provided loans
are securitized.
After the sale IMW-Group will still have 4,330 residential and commercial
units with a rental space of approx. 320,000 sqm.
Due the purchase the Nicolas Berggruen Holdings GmbH increased its Berlin
portfo-lio by 50 % up to 90 residential and commercial properties.
