DULUTH, Minn., Aug. 10, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allegiant (Nasdaq:ALGT) announces new, nonstop jet service between Duluth, Minn., and Phoenix-Mesa, Ariz., will begin Oct. 21. The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service to Duluth with fares as low as $89.99* one-way.

The new flights will operate twice weekly between the Duluth International Airport (DLH) and Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport (IWA) with service Friday and Monday. Flights will depart Duluth at 7:45 p.m. arriving in Phoenix-Mesa at 9:10 p.m. Flights leaving Phoenix-Mesa will depart at 1:55 p.m. arriving in Duluth at 7:05 p.m. (all flight times are local). The carrier will utilize a full-size, 150-seat MD-80 jet aircraft on the route.
