Oasis Systems Appoints Peter A. Krawczyk to Vice President, ESC Programs


LEXINGTON, Mass., Aug. 11, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Oasis Systems, a leader in Information Technology and Services to the Department of Defense, announced today that it has promoted Peter A. Krawczyk to Vice President of the Oasis Programs at the Electronic Systems Center (ESC), Hanscom AFB. Mr. Krawczyk will be reporting to Oasis CEO Tom Colatosti.

Krawczyk will be responsible for providing leadership for all Command, Control, Intelligence, Engineering, Technical and Services for Task Orders under the Air Force's Professional Acquisition Support Services Programs. This includes leading nearly 300 employees and subcontractors and managing staffing, cost, quality and revenue for programs such as Command & Control, Battle Management, Space & Nuclear, Cyber Netcentric and IT support operations.

Krawczyk joined Oasis in 2007 after retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a Lt Colonel. His Air Force service included Commander of the 638th Electronic Systems Squadron, Chief of the E-8C and E-10 Radar Division, Executive Officer with the National Security Agency and a number of other appointments in Signals Intelligence, Acquisition, Deployable Satellite Communications, Combat Telecommunications Systems and Information Technology Services. His Air Force responsibilities included managing programs with budgets in excess of one billion dollars and 600 people.

In addition to a number of certifications and advance studies, Pete holds a M.S. in Materials Engineering from University of Dayton and a Bachelors' degree in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University.
