Allegiant Announces Nonstop, Low-Cost Travel Service Between Newport News and Orlando With Introductory $64.99* Fares


NEWPORT NEWS, Va., Aug. 18, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allegiant (Nasdaq:ALGT) today announces new, nonstop jet service between Newport News, Va., and Orlando, Fla., via Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB), will begin Nov. 16. The company, known for its exceptional travel deals, will introduce the new service to Southeastern Virginia area residents with fares as low as $64.99* one way.

The new flights will operate four times weekly between Newport News/Williamsburg International Airport (PHF) and Orlando Sanford International Airport (SFB) with service Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Flights will depart Newport News at 3:30 p.m. arriving in Orlando-Sanford at 5:20 p.m. Flights leaving Orlando-Sanford will depart at 1:00 p.m. arriving in Newport News at 2:50 p.m. (all flight times are local).

Allegiant's $64.99* one-way introductory fare is limited, must be purchased by Sept. 7, 2011, and is valid for travel between Nov. 16, 2011, and Feb. 14, 2012. Introductory fares are not available on all flights.
