Quality Distribution, Inc. Announces Refinance of Revolver

New $250 Million, 5 Year Asset-Based Credit Facility

TAMPA, Fla., Aug. 22, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Quality Distribution, Inc. (Nasdaq:QLTY) ("Quality" or the "Company"), which operates the largest chemical bulk tank truck network and is the largest provider of intermodal tank container and depot services in North America, today announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Quality Distribution, LLC., has entered into a new 5 year, $250 million asset-based revolving credit facility with a group of lenders. This new, larger credit facility has a maturity date of August 2016, and may be used for working capital needs, to finance capital expenditures and acquisitions, and for general corporate purposes. The terms and conditions, including pricing, are substantially similar to the Company's prior credit facility, except that incremental availability under the revolver as of the closing date will increase by approximately $7.0 million.

"We are very pleased to close on our new $250 million asset-based revolver," said Joe Troy, Chief Financial Officer. "Entering into this new revolver is a critical step in our capital structure enhancement program, which has recently led to extended debt maturities, lower leverage, stronger liquidity and an overall reduction in our cost of capital. We also obtained better availability with this new credit facility, which will allow us more flexibility to pursue acquisitions and invest in our energy business, which supports our stated growth objectives."
