Specifically, BioMed's CEO compensation rose from $4.07 million in 2009 to $5.03 million in 2010 and the Company's total compensation rose from $8.12 million to $11.12 million. Executive pay was increased despite the fact that the Company's net income decreased from approximately $58.7 million to $38.8 million from 2009 to 2010.
