Former Best Buy Service Center Territory Manager Tapped to Lead Encompass Service Solutions Division

Patrick Joseph Brings Extensive Experience in Service Operations to the Company


LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga., Aug. 23, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Encompass Group Affiliates, Inc. (OTCBB:ECGA), a leading provider of replacement parts and reverse logistics services for a wide range of electronics products, today announced the appointment of Patrick Joseph as Executive Vice President & General Manager of its subsidiary, Encompass Service Solutions, Inc. (ESS).

In his new role, Joseph will be responsible for the overall operations of ESS, which specializes in extending the value of consumer and high-tech products through board-level and whole-unit repair, refurbishment and parts reclamation services. ESS additionally provides Level II and Level III call center technical support, service contract administration and support and eco-friendly disposal of end-of-life products to third-party warranty companies, OEMs and national retailers.

Prior to joining ESS, Joseph served as the Territory Service General Manager for Best Buy's Western Region, comprising Southern California, Nevada, New Mexico and Arizona. In that role he was responsible for all Service Center and In-Home Service operations. He also led the opening of the Seattle Service Center for Best Buy, as well as managed product sales and service support for Best Buy retail stores in the Northwestern United States. He has served as a leader in various roles in Best Buy's service operations since 2000.

Prior to managing Best Buy's service operations, Patrick was the West Division Director of Service for Rent-A-Center, providing product service support for 893 stores and 12 service centers from Chicago to Hawaii.
