DEAG appointments to secure further growth 

Berlin, August 26, 2011: 
After the continuously growing business development during the past years
and a doubling of the result during the first half-year 2011, listed DEAG
Deutsche Entertainment AG and its subsidiaries anticipate ongoing growth
for the second half of the year and 2012.
The sound, sustainable and innovative strategy has consolidated, together
with a focus on profitability, the good positioning of the company.

In order to support the growth course in terms of human
resources,responsibilities in central functions are newly organized.

Jacqueline Zich, Senior Project Manager with DEAG Classics AG since
2005,will take over responsibility as Segment COO for the entire Classics
segment, to support Prof. Peter Schwenkow (CEO DEAG) even more in view of
the further expansion of this segment.

Moritz Schwenkow, who has held various positions at DEAG since 2005 and is
in charge of Northern Germany as Managing Director of River Concerts GmbH
and Elbklassik Konzerte GmbH in Hamburg, will take over additional
responsibility in the operating business as Vice President Operations and
will work closely with the Executive Board functions of Christian Diekmann
(CFO&COO).

Johannes Lehmpfuhl, co-responsible for the rapid and successful development
of Internet and dialog marketing during the past years, is appointed Head
of Digital Services; this will strengthen and develop this unit further.

Klemens Wiese leaves the company to take up new professional challenges. He
managed the Marketing function since 2006 and contributed towards the
development of the licensing business.

His successor is Susanne Nestraschil; she joins the team as an established
marketing specialist. After several positions with DDB Entertainment since
2005, Susanne Nestraschil acted as a Senior Account Manager for strategic
consulting and concepts. As a Senior Manager Marketing & Exploitation with
DEAG she will further optimize the linking of marketing disciplines to
distribution and continue to boost the flanking business such as sponsoring
cooperation and license exploitation.

Christian Diekmann, Member of the Executive Board of DEAG: 'I am very
pleased that with this optimization of staffing DEAG will become even more
effective to ensure further growth. We have a great team to implement our
strategies and we are looking forward to further profitable growth.'
