Curse, Inc. named to Inc. 500 list of fastest growing companies

Leading content and community platform for online video games ranks #405 on the 2011 Inc. 500


San Francisco, CA, Aug. 30, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inc. Magazine has announced its 30th annual Inc. 500 ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in United States. Curse, Inc., the leading content and community platform for online games, ranks No. 405 on the list, with a three-year revenue growth of 839 percent. Curse ranks 15th in the media category and 16th in San Francisco.   The Inc. 500 list is published in the September issue of the magazine.

Methodology

The 2011 Inc. 500 is ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2007 through 2010. To qualify, companies must have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2007. Additionally they had to be based in the United States, privately held, for profit, and independent - not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies - as of December 31, 2010. The minimum revenue required for 2007 is $100,000; the minimum for 2010 is $2 million.
