SAN DIEGO, Sept. 8, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (Nasdaq:KTOS), a leading National Security Solutions provider, announced today that it has been awarded a $1.8 million contract to design, engineer, manufacture and deliver specialized equipment for a mission critical information dominance program for a certain National Security related customer. Certain attributes of this program include mobile and survivable command and control capabilities, including battle command requirements. This specialized equipment will be produced at a secure Kratos manufacturing facility. Due to customer related and other sensitivities, no additional information will be provided related to this contract award.
