Toonzai presents the American broadcast premiere of Tai Chi Chasers, an action-packed series that chronicles the adventures of Rai, a young orphan shocked to discover he is descended from the Tigeroids, a peaceful race locked in an age-old struggle with the ruthless and powerful Dragonoids. Banished from their universe, Rai and the Tai Chi Chasers must race to recover the 500 lost Tai Chi symbols that will lead to their destiny…or their doom!
Celebrating its 20th Anniversary, Sonic X returns with the New World Saga on September 17th. Going ten years strong, the classic Yu-Gi-Oh! series features the Waking the Dragons story-arc as three Egyptian God Cards are stolen and Yugi and the gang must solve strange events before the planet is destroyed! Dragon Ball Z Kai fans will be treated to an encore season of Goku's adventures as he searches for the seven mystical orbs known as the Dragon Balls, which can summon a wish-granting dragon when gathered. Magi-Nation, Toonzai's TV-Y (E/I) rated program, follows teenager Tony Jones, whose world is forever changed when he is mystically transported into a beautiful world far beyond imagination that was created a millennium ago by a powerful race known as the Magi.
This September, the stealthy Toonzai Ninja is joined by comical host, "Shoji." This new, animated character is inspired by "Kamishibai," the nearly vanished Japanese art of street corner storytelling that paved the way for manga and anime television. Shoji guides kids through an exciting journey into the World of Toonzai - Where Epic Anime Rules! He introduces storylines, characters and stunts as he stars in a series of interstitals that reveal the hidden meanings behind classic anime techniques - what do giant sweat drops and big blue hair really mean? Shoji will entertain viewers with his Anime Rules, What the What? and Shoji Street Magic vignettes.
