YAS Fitness Centers Founder Kimberly Fowler Presents Path to Success in "The No Om Zone" as Part of the Junior League of Orange County's Signature Fundraiser


NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sept. 20, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Former pro tri-athlete Kimberly Fowler, owner and founder of Costa Mesa's YAS Fitness Center, will instruct a yoga class based on her innovative approach to fitness following a motivational presentation at "The No Om Zone," a special event to be held as part of The Christmas Company, 9:30 – 11:00 am, Friday, November 18, at the OC Fair & Event Center.

The first 100 attendees to sign up will receive a complimentary yoga mat, towel, and bag courtesy of YAS Fitness Centers. Blondies Custom Couture will provide attendees with "burn out hoodies," attractive cover-ups from the Sofibella Wear yoga clothing line, and spicy lemonade will be provided by Nekter Juice Bar. The Christmas Company is the largest annual fundraiser for the Junior League of Orange County, CA, Inc. Fowler founded YAS Fitness Centers in Venice, California, in 2001. A former attorney and author of "The No Om Zone" published by Rodale, she will share how yoga helped her recovery from brain cancer and sports-related injuries.  She will also discuss her launch into business ownership through her innovative and fresh approach to yoga. Fowler will instruct the group on integrating movement, strength, and breath work to help attendees excel, no matter what their level of experience.

Thursday, November 17: Preferred Shopping, 11:00 am – 3:00 pm, $35 per person

The early bird gets the mimosa during Preferred Shopping where attendees enjoy V.I.P. treatment and a first look at the exhibitors' goodies.  Champagne provided by Gallo Family Vineyards and a savory breakfast will be served at this stroller-free shopping event.

Friday, November 18: Girl's Night Out, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm, $45 per person

At ladies' night, attendees will enjoy libations sponsored by Gallo Family Vineyards, exclusive shopping with a 10 per cent discount, and even a little pampering.  Attendees will also receive a fabulous gift bag full of treats.

Saturday, November 19: PJs & Pancakes, 10:00 am – 11:30 am, $15 per adult/$25 per child

Saturday, November 19: Cooking Demo and Book Signing, 4:00 pm – 5:30 pm, $35 per person

Sunday, November 20: Fancy Nancy Tea Party, 11:00 am-12:30 pm AND 2:30 pm – 4:00 pm, $28 per adult/$39 per child
