Baltika’s consolidated retail sales revenue for September totalled 4,273 thousand euros and increased by 1% compared to September previous year in a situation where the sales area shrunk by 6%.
In the month of September, retail revenue increased by 11% in Baltic region (in Estonia 15%, in Latvia 20%, and in Lithuania -1%). Retail sales revenue in the Eastern Europe region decreased by 6% (including 6% decrease in Russia and 5% decrease in Ukraine).
In the month of September, comparable stores sales (LFL) per square metre increased by 7%. Biggest growth was achieved in Latvia (+16%), in Estonia (+14%), in Lithuania (+5%) and in Russia (1%). Comparable stores sales (LFL) per square metre decreased in Ukraine by 2%. In local currencies, comparable store sales per square metre increased in Russia by 6% and in Ukraine by 4% compared to September last year.
Retail sales efficiency (sales/m²) increased in September by 8%.

At the end of September Baltika Group had 115 stores with a total sales area of 23,165 square metres, 8 stores less than in September 2010.
Consolidated sales revenue for the first nine months totalled 37,937 thousand euros (+2% yoy), including retail revenues of 35,298 thousand euros (+3% yoy) and wholesale revenues of 2,200 thousand euros (-10% yoy).
Nine months retail sales efficiency increased by 12%, compared to the same period last year.
