In September 2011 AS Tallink Grupp transported 639 287 passengers which is more than a 5% increase compared to September 2010. The number of passenger vehicles increased by almost 1% to 81 920 and trucks and trailers decreased by 2% to 24 232 units in same comparison.

The following operational factors influenced the development in September 2011:
FINLAND-SWEDEN
In September 2011 the cruise ferry M/S Silja Symphony did not operate for 12 days because of scheduled maintenance, the vessel was not replaced during that time.
FINLAND-GERMANY
Operations on the route were ended. The ships that previously operated there are chartered out of the group.
