Simendinger comes to Bulow after spending his last five years working at the US Military's Center for the Intrepid (CFI), also in San Antonio, which is recognized as one of the world's most technologically advanced rehab centers.

Prior to his work at the CFI, Simendinger worked in numerous private practices for 10 years treating a variety of patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric who required both upper and lower extremity care. Simendinger's rich background has led him to develop a professional emphasis and specialization with above the knee prosthetics while utilizing the latest in prosthetic technology.
"During my time at the CFI I encountered a large volume of above knee amputees with unique injuries," notes Simendinger. "This experience has given me a broad range of fitting techniques for patients with above the knee amputations, which can be challenging to fit."
Simendinger received his prosthetics training at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
