Weapon Simulator Sold to U.S. Navy Police Department


TEMPE, AZ--(Marketwire - Oct 18, 2011) - VirTra Systems (PINKSHEETS: VTSI), a leading provider of firearms training systems to Military and Law Enforcement agencies, today announced a contract award for a 180-degree shooting simulator from the United States Navy.

The system includes recoil kits that use gas instead of ammunition to simulate recoil. Also ordered was VirTra's patented Threat-Fire™ device that further enhances training realism with an adjustable electric impulse that simulates return fire.

Naval Support Activity South Potomac (NSASP) is a major shore command within Naval District Washington, host command for the Dahlgren, VA and Indian Head Naval Support Facilities. The NSASP Law Enforcement Division is composed of military and civilian police officers that safeguard Department of Defense resources, facilities, and personnel.
