Best quarterly result ever for RIB Software AG
Quarterly result before tax rockets by 420%
Stuttgart, 28 October 2011 - RIB Software AG today announces preliminary
financial results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30,
2011. All figures are approximate and unaudited.
RIB Software AG succeeded in boosting its total revenue in the third
quarter by 52.9% to 10.4 million EUR (Q3 2010: 6.8 million EUR) and
significantly increased its earnings before taxes and IPO costs by 420.0%
to 5.2 million EUR (Q3 2010: 1.0 million EUR). Strong demand for the
iTWO(R) Business Suite (integrated 5D-software for the building industry)
in particular was reflected in growth of 650,0% in licence revenues to 4.5
million EUR (prior year: 0.6 million EUR). Total revenues rose in the first
nine months of 2011 to 26.8 million EUR (prior year: 25.8 million EUR).
Earnings before tax and IPO costs rose to 8.5 million EUR (prior year: 8.3
million EUR). Licence revenue from the iTWO(R) Business Suite soared by
22.8% to 7.0 million EUR (prior year: 5.7 million EUR); the largest
increase at 100.0% to 1.8 million EUR was recorded internationally (outside
of the Germany-Austria-Switzerland region).
An investor and analysts' conference will take place today at 11.00 a.m.
