Gateway Analytical Growth Demands Move to a Larger Facility

PITTSBURGH, Nov. 2, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Gateway Analytical announced today that the company will move to a larger facility at 5316 William Penn Highway, Gibsonia, Pa. after outgrowing the current laboratory and office space. In just over one year, Gateway Analytical has significantly exceeded its revenue projections and will have doubled the number of employees.

"We are excited about the growth we've seen over the last year, as it means that we can continue to bring in new business and jobs to the Western Pennsylvania region," says David Exline, Senior Vice President of Gateway Analytical.  "This new facility will allow us the room we need to hire additional employees, expand our service offerings and continue to add value for our customers."

The new 8,000 square foot facility will provide room for additional office space and allow the consolidation of Gateway Analytical's ISO- and GMP-compliant testing laboratories.  It will also house a new wet chemistry laboratory, a chemical imaging laboratory, class 5 and class 100 sample preparation areas and additional labs for microscopy and spectroscopy equipment.

Quality will be a crucial focus during the move, and will help to ensure there will be no interruption of service to the company's customers and continued adherence to Gateway Analytical's quality commitment.
