His responsibilities include overseeing the research and development efforts for both the Versant and FastObjects database technologies as well as worldwide customer support.
Mr. John previously held a position in product management from 1997 to 2000 at Poet Software GmbH, the original FastObjects developer, which was acquired by Versant in 2004.
