America's Premier Tech Investor Conference Counts Another Successful Year

The Classic Has Been Bringing Investors and Tech Companies Together for Over 40 Years


WASHINGTON, Nov. 8, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TechAmerica's premier financial conference, The Classic, comes to a close today in San Diego with another banner year of bringing tech-focused investors together with growing technology companies.

Highlights of the two day event, cosponsored by NASDAQ OMX, included an opportunity for the 150 motivated tech-focused investors to hear first-hand from growing technology companies who were seeking capital to expand. The group heard from outstanding keynote speakers including NASDAQ OMX Executive Vice President, Corporate Client Group, Bruce E. Aust; Qualcomm's Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer, William E. Keitel; and Greg Monaco, Partner of MonacoLange.

Since the first event in 1970, the more than 1,800 participating high-tech companies have shown their potential to over 6,000 investors resulting in an average share price increase of eight percent following The Classic.
